Basketball Tryouts This Wednesday And Thursday

So you want to play boys or girls basketball?

You’ll need 3 things:

  • You need a C average for all classes
  • You need a physical in the last 12 months
  • You need a Parent Consent Form

UPDATED: Tryouts are for students in 6th grade through 8th grade.

Girls Tryouts

When: ***UPDATED Wednesday, January 29th, 2014 ***
Time: 2:45pm-4:30pm
Where: Upper School Gym

What you need to tryout:

  • Parent Consent Form
  • Shorts
  • T-Shirt
  • Sneakers

Boys Tryouts

When: ***UPDATED Thursday, January 30th, 2014 ***
Time: 2:45pm-4:30pm
Where: Upper School Gym

What you need to tryout:

  • Sneakers

Parent Consent Form

If you have not gotten or returned a parent consent form, contact Mr. B or Mr. Robinson.

        Inci, tryouts are for students in 6th – 8th grade. You probably know already, but Curtis Hall also has a league for younger kids who are both girls and boys, though I believe the season has already begun.

    Thank you very much for posting this! I have a few questions regarding this:

    1. How strict is the tryout? Will they take beginners?
    2. What is the weekly practice schedule?
    3. Will there be transportation after the practice?
    4. When will be the volleyball season?

      Hi Juliet – all excellent questions. Email Mr. B (dbeaudrault@bostonpublicschools.org) and I am sure he will be able to answer the questions.

      As for the volleyball season, Ms. Riccardi was last year’s coach, and she will probably be able to give you the volleyball schedule. Her email address is aricciardi@bostonpublicschools.org.
