In addition to planning lessons and teaching, did you know that many of our teachers are also some of our school’s busiest fund-raisers? Currently, Curley K8 School teachers have over 10 active projects listed HERE on DonorsChoose and they need our support to get them funded. Many of the projects currently listed are in support of our early elementary inclusion and PACE classrooms. Our newest ESL teacher and middle school “Destination Imagination” teacher are also trying to make sure their students have the materials they need to be successful.

Over the years, Curley teachers have posted and successfully funded close to $130,000 in small, high-impact classroom and grade-level projects on DonorsChoose.org and other fundraising sites. These targeted fund-raising efforts help provide important day-to-day materials and experiences directly to students within the classroom.
