City-wide SPED PAC (parent advisory council for special education)

Please remember that you don’t need to hold elected office to be involved.

What makes the Curley such a strong community is that each year, scores upon scores of parents volunteer their time to help organize events, spend time in classrooms, take care of administrative work, help chaperon field trips, raise money, donate their expertise, spearhead needed programs, and perform a hundred other small, valuable tasks.

Finally, the school community is very grateful for the hard work and dedication put in by the outgoing members of these committees. Many parents continue in their roles for another year, others have taken up new positions, and many have taken the path toward a well deserved rest. Thank you all!!

    Hello everyone,

Just wanted to offer a note of encouragement and cheers to the team – and also wanted to make myself available for ad hoc projects (library time, office work time etc).

I see that there is a list of things that people are encouraged to volunteer for in the meeting minutes – if there were a weekly sign up sheet online like the doodle one for example – perhaps ppl could pick a specific activity and time slot that works for them… The list would have to be updated regularly to have current dates.
