Last night twenty-one people gathered in the Upper School Library for the January School Parent Council meeting. It was a highly productive meeting with many committee updates and much event planning. View detailed meeting minutes. The next SPC meeting will be Feb 6: 8:45-10:45am.

JANUARY EVENTS
1/11 (tomorrow) – School Preview Tour – volunteers still needed to help with tours. (9-11am, Meet around lower school office at 9 am)
1/16 – Workshop presented by Federation for Children With Special Needs – Learn how to prepare for an IEP meeting and better understand your rights. (9-11am Upper School Library)
1/17 – Environmental Walk Through – Chance for parents to address desired physical plant improvements with representatives from BPS Facilities and MassCosh – (9-10 am, Meet at 9am Upper School library)
1/18 – 6th Annual Museum of Science Night – (5pm-9pm at the MOS) Registration forms due TOMORROW (1/11)
1/21 – MLK Day of Service – Curley families invited to come at any point through the day (no sign up necessary) to help with community service projects. (10-2pm – Upper School Cafeteria)
1/23 – Winter Music Concert – Student K-1 thru 5th grade will perform (9 am Upper School Auditorium. Parent reception 8:30 am)
1/24 – Principal’s Breakfast – Families First will present a workshop on “Homework Battles”. (9-11am Upper School Library)
1/24 – Parent-Teacher Conference Night – For families who haven’t yet had a conference with their child’s teacher. (5-7pm in classrooms)
1/29 – Silent Auction Planning Meeting – Kick-off organizational meeting for SPC’s largest fundraiser: Canary Sq. Silent Auction. (7 pm, Canary Square)
