This week’s Paw Prints from Interim Principal Mirna Vega-Wilson:

• First let me thank you all for welcoming me back to the Curley community. It is great to be back! Thank you for your support during this transition time!
• Welcome sessions for incoming Kindergarten students will take place Friday, May 3rd and Friday, May 17th from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Come great our new families!
• On Wednesday, April 24th the Curley K-8 School supported the victims of the Marathon bombings by holding a Boston Day. Students wore Boston gear and donated $1.00 to the Boston One Fund. Some students donated more than a $1.00 Thank you for your generosity! We are still collecting money and will be donating it to the Boston One Fund shortly!

  UPDATE: We have collected $800 for the Boston One Fund! Impressive based on the fact that this was done on such short notice and it was only on one day!

• Please join us on Saturday, April 27th for the 13th annual Plant Sale from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The proceeds from the Plant Sale will help support the Curley’s music, arts and science programs.
• MCAS testing for Grade 3 – 8 in Math and Science will take place during the weeks of May 6th – 22nd. Be on the look out for more details on the specific dates and times!
