A special thank you to Kristin Jurkoic, Heshan Berents-Weeramuni, Jess Ormsby, Arusha Hollister and Dave Demerjian for planning these showcase events and leading tours through our building.

  • December 23, 2013: The BTU has voted in collaboration with BPS to cancel school on Monday, December 23rd. This day will be added on at the end of the school year in June.
  • Report Cards: Elementary School (K-5) report cards will be sent out this coming week.
  • Shop Local and Support the Curley: On Monday, December 9th Boing! JP’s Toy Stop, Kitchenwitch, On Centre, and Streetcar Wine and Beer will donate a portion of their sales to the Curley. It’s a perfect day to do your holiday shopping. Visit these stores and mention the Curley!
  • BPS transition to Google: Families be conscious of the fact that all Boston City employees are having their email migrated over to Google this past weekend. If you emailed a Curley staff member and have not heard a response it may be due to this migration. Please just send a follow up email. Also as a way to make things easier you can now reach staff at the exchange @bostonpublicschools.org. For example my email is now kgrassa@bostonpublicschools.org. The old exchange will still work but please note this for future reference.
  • Health and Wellness Committee: Please join us for our December meeting on Tuesday, December 10th from 3:00pm-4:15pm in the guidance office.
  • School Site Council: Please join us for our December meeting on Tuesday, December 10th from 5:30pm-7:00pm in the Upper School Library.
