On January 17 between 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m, the Curley Community Initiatives Team is partnering with Boston Cares for a day of service.
Our school will host more than 500 volunteers for different service activities, making a difference for many.
Volunteers can participate in a variety of activities, such as:
- Assembling quilts for low-income babies (being donated to Room to Grow)
- Creating Valentines Day cards for senior citizens
- Putting together Dental hygiene kits (to be donated to the Women’s Lunch
- Place)
- Preparing fleece scarves to be donated to local shelters
- Making cards for those involved in the recent shootings in Tucson
- Designing your own Civil Rights Leader Photo Frames
- In addition, volunteers may join in construction and art projects to beautify our school!
ALL ARE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE!
This project is designed for all ages: children, families and friends. Youth under 8 years old should be in a 1 adult to 2 children ratio.
Come join in the fun… and be the change!
