Hi there Curley kindergarten families:

Just a reminder that our Welcome Picnic will be happening this Saturday from 11:30 to 1pm at the playground near the Pershing Road entrance. If you are an incoming k1 family or a returning k2er (is that a word? I’m not sure…) we hope you’ll be able to join us. Please bring some food to share. We’ll have plates and cutlery and napkins and all that stuff. It’s supposed to be 140 degrees out, so I’m leaving the crockpot at home.

The picnic is a great opportunity for the kids to get to know each other a bit, and a chance to meet our principal and kindergarten teaching team. Parents also use the picnic to connect with other families who might be interested in sharing an afterschool nanny or babysitter.
