The 10th Annual Curley K-8 Fall Fling
This year our Fall Fling is Friday, October 14th from 5:30 – 8:00PM. This is a fabulous family event and fundraiser with food, fun activities, a raffle with major prizes and a DJ! Parent volunteers play an essential role in making this a great event for our school community. The money raised goes toward important enrichment programs such as music, art, dance and science for our children. Read the full story HERE!

Labeling Student Belongings
Please label your child’s clothing, lunch boxes, hats etc… This helps us identify an owner if something is found and saves families from having to buy a new item.

A Note From Our Nurses
The Curley K-8 School is lucky to have two full time nurses on staff. Nurse Regan (mregan@bostonpublicschools.org) and Nurse Pumphret (apumphret@bostonpublicschools.org) are here to support our whole community. “Welcome to another school year. We hope everyone had a restful and healthy summer. We would like to remind parents to please send a copy of your child’s most recent physical exam and immunizations to school. If your child experienced any health changes over the summer or if your child has been diagnosed with a medical condition that the school nurse’s should be aware of, please call us at 617-635-8239. Also, if your child will require medication in school (including epipens and asthma inhalers), the medication must be brought into school in the original prescription box or bottle with the child’s name on it. We also require a medication order from your child’s pediatrician. The order should be dated for this school year and signed by the physician and parent. Our fax number is 617-635-8244.”

Arrival and Dismissal
Please keep in mind that the doors open at 8:15am and the official school day begins promptly at 8:30am. Please make sure to have your child arrive on time for the start of the day. Dismissal begins at 2:25pm. We are asking all families to remain outside at dismissal and not to release their child from school after 1:45pm. All arrival and dismissal information is found here.
