ICYMI: Summer Reading… And How To Unsubscribe…

Heshan Berents-Weeramuni

Happy summer everyone!

Summer Reading

Summer is NOT done, there’s still time to enjoy the weather, outdoor BBQs, fun, and games, and… also fill to out the summer reading calendar sheet.

At the end of last term, the school sent home a packet about summer reading for students. Principal Grassa asked each student to read for at least 30 minutes each day. The calendar was for students to document each day that they read.

Students should bring this back to school with them in September and they will be invited to celebration as well as recognized at our first Curley Shares Assembly. Here’s the Curley Summer Reading Calendar in case you need another copy.

Unsubscribing

We don’t want to lose you at all, but if you’ve left the Curley community and want to unsubscribe from our emailed stories, please let us know.

Simply reply to this emailed story, or email parent Heshan Berents-Weeramuni directly at heshanbw@gmail.com with your unsubscribe request.

Subject lines which contain the phrase, “So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish” will be especially appreciated.

The very best of luck to you all and your wonderful student! Oh, the places you will go!

And thank you for everything you did for our community.

    3. Dr. Chang’s visit to the Curley K-8 on the Listen and Learn Tour.

    9. New signage posted around the building to allow families clear routes to travel throughout.
    10. And the number one highlight of SY 2014-2015 was the completion of our new playing field! So much time and effort went into assuring that our students had a safe space to play outside. I will never forget the energy and excitement at our opening ceremony. Thank you to all who made this possible!

  • Thank you: I would like to thank all the families for helping me during my 2nd year as principal. The support of the Curley families and JP community make my job as a principal more enjoyable.
